Finds a nice race so can go one better. An early break proved costly for VAL THORENS (9) when resuming last week but he'll be fitter for the hitout. Showed some decent form last time in and has placed in all three previous second-up attempts so looking for big improvement. HILLBILLY (8) had no luck when forced to work in the Northern Derby last start. Draws wide again but had finished runner-up in his other two starts this time in so will enjoy the class drop. HIGH NOON (1) has drawn to advantage and could give backers a great sight.
