EL CHINO VACA (6) Finished 4th last time at Albuquerque Downs. Is capable of a resurgence but facing formidable competition. Jockey Miguel A Perez and trainer Daniel Hernandez show promise as a duo. One of the major hopes. SMOKEINTHEAIR (3) First up from a break. Threw down a serious challenge last run at Assiniboia Downs and stepping down to a lower level. Should jump out and bowl along. Gets a chance to win. NEVER CATCH ME (4) Picked up late ground when 3rd last start at Albuquerque Downs but challenged by more formidable competitors. Has a great burst of speed late. Can win this. DORMELLO'S LEGACY (5) Didn't attack the line when 7th last time at Albuquerque Downs. Expecting improvement here but up in class. Can go through the gears. Possesses the talent and has some chance.
