Woodbine Mohawk Park Race 7

Race 7

Stake: $28,004

UNCLE SHANK A (6) was responsible for a far better performance at his latest appearance when he scored by 3 metres over 1609m at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. PREMIER FIRST STAR (7) continued the strong recent form when he scored last start over 1609m at this track. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Primary contender in a similar assignment. SHADOW OF AN ANGEL (4) is in the mix following a respectable third at his most recent appearance over 1609m at this track. WATERLOO (5) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 1609m at this track.

Seven-year-old entire showed improvement last time. 2nd over 1609m at this track was leading by at the bell, beaten 3 m by Uncle Shank (1:49.40) on October 31 at $3.20. The race before was not as impressive when beaten by 2 m finishing fourth behind Remember The Alamo at this track over 1609m on October 24 at $29.30. Can't recommend against this lot.

Not far away at the last couple starts; Finished a narrow second behind Premier First Star at this track over 1609m HCP last start. Before that was beaten 3 metres fourth again at this track same class on October 26. Racing well and worth each-way consideration.
