Hobart Race 1

Graham Family Funerals (Bm68)

Stake: $31,250

NATIVE CLAN (3) has been racing well at Launceston, and she has an even better record on this course. She is drawn to receive a cosy run early on, and in the small field, she is the one to beat. REGAL HUNTER (4) was a touch disappointing last time out when back up to a trip when finishing fourth, and he may be ridden more positively this time. He drops 2kg, and is worth another chance. JOHNNIE PINCH (2) was a well beaten third last time out, and his overall form in similar fields to this is near enough. Each way. HAPPY CLAN (1) posted a rare win in his penultimate start, and then was only fair when fifth last time out. He will appreciate being back to this circuit, and he can bounce straight back into the money here. DA SILVER FLASH (5) will be backing up quickly, after finishing second as the favourite 4 days ago at Launceston. Follow your money.
